Tellabration News

Thank you to everyone involved in this year's Tellabration -- the tellers who diligently prepared their stories and told them with such skill, the other volunteers who emceed and proofread and handed out discounts and planned and baked and "door prized" and stood at the Artists and food tables and served our listeners so well.
It was a great afternoon of stories. One listener sent Kate an email at 5:39 that evening: "Just a note to say that I LOVED, LOVED Tellabration today, I just got home and had to write. Thank you to all your storytellers."
Another told Kate: "I've never been to a storytelling performance before. It was just so wonderful -- all those different stories and the tellers were so relaxed when they shared them."
140 people came this year. $600 was raised, so added to last year's $200, we have enough money to offer 4 $200 storytelling grants to area libraries and museums!
            Bravo!!!
Kate and Joe
